The sun has most definitely got his hat on at the moment, making London look beautiful.  So we must in turn keep up and one of the easiest ways to do this is a quick spring manicure.  I’ve looked at 3 of the 2014 collections, please let me know what collections you are lusting after!

Essie

The 2014 Neon collection from Essie is glorious!  With or without a golden tan this collection can be used on hands and feet.  I am a classic fan of co-ordinating my hands and toes and so my favourite is “Too Taboo” as Essie describe a “florescent fushia berry”.  My daughter, Charlotte however loves a mismatch and assures me “I’m addicted” (a “neon aquamarine blue”) on hands and “Serial shopper” (“florescent fire coral”) on toes is the only way to go!

OPI

OPI – my favourite nail colour naming company have brought out the aptly named “Brazil” collection.  I am surprised there are no pastels in this collection, however I have fallen head over heels for “don’t Bossa Nova Me Around” a pinky nude that will sit against a light tan perfectly.  I do love OPI, particularly the prowide brush but their collections aren’t making me squeal with excitement anymore.  A great in depth post can be found at The Polish Aholic.

Tom Ford

Oh Tom Ford  how happy this nail collection makes me! A perfect spring collection of colours.  Although the £26 price tag may put you off, I can assure you they are worth it – even just for the beautiful and stylish packaging!

Don’t forget to keep your hands hydrated to make your spring manicure look even better.  No need for a specialised hand cream, just pull down your LYS Collagen Moisturising Gel and smooth into your hands.
